The Redevelopment of Cuba's Landmark National Art Schools

Nine CMU architecture students worked with US and Cuban artists, musicians, and drama designers to preserve the character of Cuba’s National Schools of Art while re-envisioning this jewel of the Revolution as a modern arts university.

Curated by Hal Hayes, AIA, Studio Professor of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University.

Project participants include Alex Fasciolo, Lex Gernon, Horace Hou, Fah Kanjanavanit, Madhura Karche, Gary Li, Nathan Lutz, Carter Nelson, Matt Porter, Amy Rosen, Trent Taylor, Charmaine Yau, Evan Zajdel, Kathryn Heidemann and Dick Block.

Opening Reception on Friday, July 8th, 2016 from 6:00-9:00pm, which coincides with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's summer Gallery Crawl event.
