About the Artists
Pittsburgh Puppet Works is a full-service family entertainment company, serving Pittsburgh and locations throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania since 2004. Their specialty is creating and performing original, professional, humorous and engaging puppet productions for any audience or venue. All productions feature professional staging, lighting and sound, as well as TV/film quality puppets. The show content is often a mixture of toe-tappin’ tunes with complex choreography and multi-part harmonies blended with jokes, skits and themed running gags. Their mission is to create the illusion of life through the art of puppetry in order to preserve, encourage and awaken a childlike belief in the magic. Pittsburgh Puppetworks’ traveling troupes have had the pleasure of performing everywhere from small backyard barbecues to large scale events like the Three Rivers Arts Festival.
