Walk on By is a multi-disciplinary art experience that highlights the lives of homeless men and women in the Pittsburgh community and sparks dialogue about the issues surrounding homelessness.

The exhibition is open to the public from March 24th - April 2nd. There will be an Opening Night reception on March 24th from 6:00-9:00 PM featuring Pittsburgh Playback Theater and an additional reception on March 31st from 5:00-8:00PM. Admission is "pay what you wish." The receptions will feature complimentary beverages by Future Tenant’s generous sponsor, Straub Beer.

Walk on By is made possible through Future Tenant’s Trespass Artist Residency program and a donation from the SPROUT Fund. It is also supported by local programs that serve the needs of the local homeless community including The Homeless Advisory Board, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Community Human Services, the Homeless Children’s Education Fund, and Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

About the curator: Jay Poliziani is the Director of Northside Common Ministries.

Participating Artists: Daniel See, Steve Mellon, Mark Janavel, Renee Rosensteel, Jennifer Safron, Denis Bergevin, Youth from the 412 Youth Zone, local cartoonists, actors from Playback theater and more.
